Michigan Real Estate Investors (MREI) does not exist to render and does not give legal, tax, economic or investment advice and disclaims all liability for the actions or inaction taken or not as a result of communications from or to its members, officers, directors, employees and contractors. Each individual should consult his/her own professional advisor.
MREI publishes general real estate educational information to help further your full or part time real estate career. Our goal is to educate the investor based on information edited from material contributed by leaders in the real estate investing, legal, accounting, property management, financial, legislative and other related professions.
MREI makes every effort to produce and publish the most current and accurate information possible. Moreover, because of the ever-changing laws relating to landlord-tenant relationships and other aspects of real estate, specific application of any of our material to a member’s individual situation should be made only with the advice of local legal counsel. MREI, its officers and the contributing members specifically disclaim any liability for loss or risk, personal or otherwise, which may be incurred as a consequence, directly or indirectly, of the use or application of any of the ideas, concepts, techniques, forms, documents or contents presented or implied at meetings or other educational forums presented by this association.
By attending any of the activities provided by this association, the member hereby releases, discharges and agrees to indemnify the Michigan Real Estate Investors, its respective officers, directors, members, employees and/or contractors, past or present, from any and all liabilities associated with our organization.
The viewpoints expressed and methods promoted by speakers at MREI events are not necessarily those of the board, staff, or leaders of the association.
Implied Consent

Your contact information, including email, phone and cell phone will never be sold, shared or released to a third party without your prior written consent.
Stop Text/Email/Voice Alerts
You can cancel Text/Email/Voice alerts/communications at any time by either calling the office and request to have the specific alters/communications stopped or you can do that yourself by going to your account details at www.michiganrealestateinvestors.com.
Recurring Billing Waiver
I do hereby authorize my membership be renewed annually, based on the membership I/We selected and that the appropriate charges (if any) be applied to my credit card on file. Should I wish to discontinue my membership, I shall comply with the Michigan Real Estate Investors Association's policy to send a written notification via electronic or regular mail 10 days prior to the next recurring billing date.
Pre-Pay Event Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise noted in the Event Payment Details, as general rule, refunds may be obtained provided that cancellations are received at least 3 days prior to the Event. However, refunds for events are not guaranteed. Refunds depend upon the policies of 3rd party vendors and other factors. By registering for this event, you understand that you may not receive a full refund should you need to withdraw. All cancellation and refund requests should be made to MREI at director@michiganrealestateinvestors.com or by calling the MREI office at (248) 394-0150.
Membership and Guest Registration Waiver
Upon submitting this application, applicant does hereby acknowledge reading, understanding and adhering to the fact that publications, meetings, workshops, seminars, etc., produced, sponsored or promulgated by the Michigan Real Estate Investors (MREI) are designed to provide author’s or speaker’s opinion in regard to subject matter. Such opinion is promulgated with the understanding that neither MREI nor its individual authors, officers, directors, staff, or volunteers are thus engaged in rendering legal, accounting or professional service. If legal or other expert assistance is required, the services of a competent professional person should be sought. Similarly, public recognition of merchants or vendors offering special discounts or services to MREI members shall not be construed as representing any form of warranty, endorsement or guarantee of such service, nor of member satisfaction therewith. MREI and its officers, directors, volunteers, staff and authors thus specifically disclaim any corporate or personal liability for any loss or risk as a consequence of the use or application, either directly or indirectly, of any service, product, advice or information provided.
Applicant does hereby allow MREI the use and distribution of the information provided on the membership application unless otherwise stated in writing, and agrees and acknowledges that: (i) applicant has received a copy of the code of ethics or has been provided access to this document; Click here to access code of ethics (ii) at any time MREI has the unconditional right to vote not to accept the applicant as a member in its sole and absolute discretion, whereupon the applicant’s dues shall be promptly refunded to the applicant at the applicant’s address on file; and (iii) at any time MREI has the right to revoke or suspend an applicant’s membership.
